Brand Strategist

About the Role: As a Brand Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Sales Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and roll-up of sales programs across modern trade, wholesale, and foodservice channels.
  2. Business Planning: Develop and implement annual business plans, including contingency planning, to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  3. Trade Promotion Management: Design and execute consumer and trade promotion programs to drive sales and market share growth.
  4. Program Execution: Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure effective program execution and financial management.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and provide recommendations for strategic and tactical adjustments.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with advertising agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
  7. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution and adaptability to changing market conditions.
  8. Innovation: Identify opportunities for business growth, cost savings, and product innovation, and develop plans for their implementation.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in FMCG marketing or sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
