Financial Management Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill a key financial management role within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and monitoring of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. You will also provide guidance on financial policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are aligned with our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation processes and communications with various departments across the organization. You will also assist in monitoring compliance with financial policies and procedures, preparing drafts of improvements in policies and systems regarding financial management, cost savings, cost allocation, and annual planning.
You will work closely with the Director-General Budgets and Management Information Systems (MIS) to maintain liaison with departments to monitor financial continuity, accuracy, and adherence to key processes for operational financial management, accounting, reporting, and compliance. Additionally, you will assist in implementing new initiatives to streamline financial reports and their distribution to improve timeliness, efficiency, effectiveness, and usefulness of reports and analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget preparation processes and communications
- Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Prepare drafts of improvements in policies and systems
- Work with Director-General Budgets and MIS
- Implement new initiatives to streamline financial reports
Required Skills and Qualifications: A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 4 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates with an MBA in Accounts/Finance or ACCA certification are preferred.
