English Language Skills Evaluator

About the Role
">- We are seeking a skilled English Language Assessor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing auto-scored English language proficiency assessments to ensure our job applicants can effectively communicate with customers worldwide. This role involves implementing and administering all assessment and quality assurance procedures as directed by senior management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and administer various training assessments and evaluations.
- Work closely with the Transcription Team to ensure high-quality projects.
- Plan, design, and deliver customized programs of English language instruction.
- Assess new and existing employees, providing feedback on their expertise and performance.
- Maintain an ongoing program of personal professional development to achieve high standards in line with Training Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
- Identify and act immediately to mitigate failure and resolve potential failure cases through planned remedial actions.
- Incorporate information, role plays, and exercises on client orientation and professionalism skills into English language classes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree (Master/PhD) in English Literature/Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, Psychology, IELTS/PTE/TOEFL with a focus on language proficiency assessment/testing and research.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in English teaching, preferably in IELTS/PTE or Cambridge English Exams.
- IELTS certification, PTE, Language certificate, Oxford English Test, and British Council experience.
- Relevant Vocational qualification and Assessment and Quality Assurance qualification or equivalent (TAQA), Assessor Award or Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
Aptitude and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Highly developed ICT skills to support training, assessment, and communication.
- Ability to manage own workload and work unsupervised.
- Flexible approach and ability to liaise with learners, employers, and curriculum staff.
Office-based position with a regular schedule of 10am-7pm.
