Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

 

Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of finished products.

This involves coordinating product testing, collecting data for reporting purposes, and analyzing statistical trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

This specialist collaborates with internal customers to address product quality and food safety issues until resolution through root cause analysis and other quality control tools.

They ensure that product quality specifications are met and coordinate with stakeholders to operate shift operations according to AIB, FSSC, ASHA, and QAS standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform regular sampling, testing, monitoring, data entry, review, and quality checks (process & packaging) of two production lines as per defined frequencies.

  2. Ensure control of non-conforming finish products from production lines through PepsiCo's Hold and Release guidelines.

  3. Coordinate with relevant teams to prevent mishandling or dispatch of out-of-specification products.

  4. Perform verification testing, close hold incidents using proper root cause analysis, and execute the hold and release activity in SAP/ASRS according to QAS requirements.

  5. Guarantee that all laboratory instruments are calibrated to ensure confident testing results.

  6. Conduct control samples to verify the accuracy of laboratory instruments.
