Job Opportunity

Humanitarian aid and sustainable development programs are crucial for abolishing poverty worldwide. As a Senior Programmes Coordinator, you will oversee country offices in operational and financial matters.

Main Job Responsibilities

You will lead on portfolio management of programmatic activities with field offices and local partners across the region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality assurance in the field and HQ in coordination with QA unit
  • Reviewing and developing high-quality proposals for allocated countries
  • Overseeing project implementation, delivery, and effective learning
  • Raising country and regional portfolio
  • Ensuring an up-to-date overview of operational matters across field offices and managing all country programmes in a highly organized manner
  • Working closely with Country Directors to provide management and oversight of the FO and guidance and direction for staff and operations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in social science or international development
  • At least 4 years of experience working in Programme Coordination at an INGO with ideally at least 1 year's experience at Global Coordinator or Manager level
  • Experience working with and delivering on bids from high-profile institutional funding bodies including UN, DfiD, GIZ, USAid
