Job Title

The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze and improve business processes.

  • Evaluate existing business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and document requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and create acceptance criteria based on provided user stories.
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, and demonstrations to communicate ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Develop logical workflows using UML diagrams and gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Produce useful documentation with technical and domain details, ensuring provided solutions meet customer business needs.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
  • Work closely with the development team and product owner to ensure defined acceptance criteria are met in UAT sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as IT or computer science.
  • At least 7+ years of experience as a business/system analyst in US healthcare IT.
  • Strong understanding of UML and other software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows of EHR systems.
  • Understanding of HL7 interoperability standards will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and a strong client-facing presence.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL queries to define database architecture usage.
  • Understanding of Web API, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
