Job Description

The primary objective of the Cloud Engineer role is to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure
    • Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams to ensure scalability and reliability.
      • Create and manage cloud-based services, such as compute, storage, and networking resources.
        • Set up and configure security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption.
          • Maintain and optimize cloud resources for high performance and efficiency.
          • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
          • Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage and costs.
          • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with cloud security best practices, including IAM roles, least privilege, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages, such as Bash and Python.
  • Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Developer or Azure Developer Associate, are highly valued.
