Financial Analyst - Expense Management

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst - Expense Management to join our team and contribute to the improvement of our financial performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing expense data, identifying areas of over-expenditure, and providing cost-saving solutions.

You will work closely with our Financial Planning and Analysis team to analyze and report on departmental expenses, extract expense reports from our ERP system, and prepare budget variance analysis and non-compensation expenses reports.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, be comfortable working with large data sets, and be eager to learn and grow in the FP&A field.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage expense data, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting on departmental expenses.
  2. Identify areas of over-expenditure and provide cost-saving solutions.
  3. Extract expense reports from ERP system.
  4. Analyze and report on departmental expenses.
  5. Prepare budget variance analysis and non-compensation expenses reports.
  6. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related field is required. Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting, particularly in FP&A functions, is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with financial software, and knowledge of accounting principles and expense management practices are essential.
