Video Editor Position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to assist in the production of high-quality videos for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing: Assist in editing videos for social media, websites, and internal communications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Support Senior Editors: Collaborate with senior editors to organize raw footage, select shots, and assemble scenes.
  • Multimedia Integration: Add music, graphics, animations, and effects under supervision.
  • Media Management: Maintain and manage media files and project archives.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing.
Requirements:
  • Basic Video Editing Skills: Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Additional Tools: Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong Portfolio: A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing capabilities (academic/personal projects are acceptable).
  • Passion for Storytelling: Passion for storytelling and visual communication.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
