As a seasoned Data Engineering professional, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic improvements in data engineering solutions and lead a team of data engineers. This role requires a deep understanding of core systems, payment systems, digital journeys, marketing systems, risk and compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain data pipelines of real-time and batch, create data strategy, data architecture, best practices and lead the organization in making strategic improvements in the data engineering solutions.
  • This role involves developing new requirements in both on-premises and cloud data lakes, estimating efforts, designing an effective solution, data architecture and management, change release management, resource management and handling deliverables across business groups in the Bank.
Requirements
  • 12 – 15 years of total experience in software development.
  • 10+ years of experience in Big Data, Hadoop, Data Lake, Data Mesh architectures, Azure Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, Unix and platform migrations.
  • Good knowledge of platform management of Cloud, DWH, Azure and Data Lake.
  • Strong grounding in data management fundamentals and data architecture, modelling, governance and data security.
