Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor in Microbiology / Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the Head of Department in managing and supervising the clinical and academic activities of the department, as well as providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assign and delegate duties to senior registrars and registrar staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
  • Manage, supervise, and train postgraduate trainees, medical officers, and other paramedical staff to ensure delivery of quality health services to patients.
  • Cordinate and facilitate faculty members and postgraduate trainees in research and development through continuous education and learning environment.
  • Convey knowledge on basic management of common patient problems, such as emergency treatment and management of emergencies.
  • Assist the Head of Department in conducting examinations of MBBS/BDS students.
  • Ensure regular OPD sessions for continuing medical care and manage new patients referred for specialist advice.
  • Conduct medical procedures in ward under supervision of senior consultants and develop proper monitoring mechanism.
  • Provide specialist advice on medical problems of patients referred from other departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Pathology or related field.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in relevant field (desirable).
  • Possession of valid practicing license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and patient care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Please note that this is a full-time position requiring a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the department.
