Job Title: International Trade Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to manage international trade operations, from sales order to dispatch. The ideal candidate will ensure timely processing of export documents, effective customer communication, and seamless supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Process all necessary documentation related to international shipments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Communication: Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints via various online channels.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the Supply Chain department to ensure timely completion and dispatch of customers' orders.
  • Order Updates: Provide regular updates to overseas customers on international orders and shipments.
  • Negotiation and Rate Management: Negotiate effectively with shipping lines to secure optimal transit times and freight rates that meet customers' preferences.
  • Rebate Processing: Ensure accurate processing and filing of rebates on international shipments.
  • Document Maintenance: Maintain all necessary documents, forms, and certificates for efficient, cost-effective, and lawful export operations.
  • Sales Leadership: Support sales efforts to enhance reputation, market leadership, and revenue growth.
  • Export Operations Monitoring: Monitor and ensure the smooth process of export operations from international sales order to dispatch.
  • Government Agency Coordination: Coordinate with government agencies for attestation and endorsement of export documents.
  • Freight Forwarder Evaluation: Evaluate and pursue freight forwarders and shipping lines, ensuring export documentation is handled efficiently and liaising with relevant departments.

  • Planning and Organizing: Effective planning and organizing skills will enable the successful candidate to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
