A successful Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a growing fashion brand with a strong e-commerce focus.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  2. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  3. Stay up-to-date on market and industry trends to inform strategic financial planning.
  4. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  5. Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. Conduct thorough profitability assessments, cost evaluations, and investment analyses.
  7. Manage financial operations related to online sales, including forecasting and margin analysis.
  8. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce and recommend actions to improve profitability.
  9. Collaborate with digital marketing and sales teams to align promotions and pricing with financial targets.

Cash Flow Optimization

  1. Maximize working capital and efficiently manage payment cycles and investments.
  2. Identify and mitigate risks related to currency fluctuations and supplier agreements.

Cost Efficiency & Margin Improvement

  1. Implement cost control measures across sourcing, production, and logistics.
  2. Evaluate existing cost structures and suggest improvements to increase margins.
  3. Enhance operational efficiencies and reduce overheads.

Financial Governance & Risk Management

  1. Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.
  2. Lead external audits and maintain accurate, timely reporting.
  3. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Supervise and mentor finance team members.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best financial practices.
  6. Define team roles, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including investors, vendors, and banks.
  2. Support supplier and vendor negotiations with financial insights.
  3. Enhance financial systems to improve analytics and decision-making.
  4. Oversee integration of ERP, data, and e-commerce platforms for better financial visibility.
