Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned QA professional to leverage their expertise in testing backend components for high-traffic websites, utilizing customized QA and development tools to ensure efficient results. As a Senior SQA Engineer, you will work closely with fellow QA and Test engineers, taking on leadership roles in team management and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise in testing backend components for high-traffic websites, utilizing customized QA and development tools to ensure efficient results.
  • Operate within short release cycles, developing test strategies that meet the needs of the project.
  • Design and run tests, applying an in-depth understanding of design specifications to guarantee seamless execution.
  • Analyze and implement changes to improve overall quality assurance processes.
Requirements
  1. Hands-on experience in multiple domains, with mastery of the test management lifecycle and test strategy development.
  2. Proven track record in handling QA projects from start to finish, including establishment of a test management process.
  3. Expertise in creating and executing comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases.
  4. Proficiency in functional, performance, usability, and platform compatibility testing.
  5. Familiarity with automation testing using QTP / Selenium.
  6. In-depth knowledge of web architecture and technologies across multiple platforms.
  7. Understanding of various tools for automation, bug management, and test management, including but not limited to Selenium, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Bugzilla, Mantis, TestLink.
  8. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  9. Able to train and mentor junior resources.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Telecom and Banking Domains.
  • Background in Security Testing / Penetration Testing.
  • Familiarity with Mercury Quality Center.
