Project Manager Job Description

This role provides project leadership on high-visibility intranet-related projects, including partnering with teams and effectively managing a portfolio of projects. Key responsibilities include facilitating meetings with project stakeholders, maintaining momentum throughout the project, and ensuring that projects sustain momentum, stay on schedule, and maintain good communication and optimal resource management.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Leading project lifecycle activities for multiple concurrent projects.
  2. Facilitating project stakeholder meetings and maintaining momentum.
  3. Collaborating with other project managers, business analysts, and department leadership to share ideas and provide critical feedback.
  4. Creating and managing project profiles, specifications, and requirements, cost estimates, communication, and risk management plans.
  5. Facilitating project wrap-ups and evaluating work estimates from the technical implementation team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience managing technical projects and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate must be a people's person, flexible, and friendly.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, resourcefulness, and self-motivation are required.
  • Persistence and a passion for continual improvement.
