  • As an academic professional, you will be responsible for meeting annual targets set by the Head of Department.
  • You will work towards goals established by the Dean/Principal to create a high-quality learning environment for students.
  • Teaching assigned courses in accordance with faculty workload policy is a key responsibility.
  • Continuously developing teaching and learning skills, contributing to the planning of educational programs, is essential.
  • Employ innovative teaching methods and facilitate experiential learning during lessons.
  • Encourage critical thinking, foster debate, and help students develop rational discourse and thought processes.
  • Supervising student projects, field trips, and placements as necessary is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Evaluate, assess, and provide feedback on student work and examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance for internal evaluation purposes.
  • Mentor 15-20 students under the Riphah Mentoring Program.
  • Update data in virtual learning environments and other required software as needed.
  • Incorporate Islamic and ethical values into teaching practices and participate in departmental and university committee activities as required.
  • Ensure teaching content and delivery methods align with RIU's mission and address subordinate and student needs.
  • Monitor student attendance in classes, labs, and practical sessions.
  • Author or contribute to publications and disseminate research findings through suitable media channels.
  • Pursue practical applications of research findings.
  • Conduct independent research, serving as principal investigator and project leader.
  • Serve as a line manager, overseeing the work of others in research teams and projects or as a PhD supervisor when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
