- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage and evaluate performance of nursing staff to identify areas for improvement and provide training and development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care activities and interventions.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address system barriers to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in assigned units.
- Implement International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units to maintain a safe environment.
- Evaluate and optimize the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by nursing staff in assigned units for efficient documentation.
- Regularly visit patients in assigned units to assess nursing care quality, gather feedback, and address concerns promptly to improve patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (MSN preferred), 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role to demonstrate leadership skills.
- Valid Professional Nurses Council registration to practice professionally.
- Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Electrocardiogram certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally involving patients, physicians, or others with empathy and tact.
- Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
