  • About the Role
  • As a Senior QE Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and ensuring data security and compliance. Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and providers.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing and automation, with a strong background in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and Java.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using relevant automation tools and programming languages.
  2. Create reusable and scalable automated testing components and libraries to support various test scenarios.
  3. Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to define the test strategy, scope, and testing objectives for projects.
  4. Participate in test planning meetings to ensure automation efforts align with project requirements.
  5. Translate manual test cases/steps and scenarios into automated test scripts.
  6. Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  7. Integrate automated tests into the CICD pipeline to ensure continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.
  8. Report defects using issue tracking tools and provide clear and detailed information to assist developers in reproducing and resolving issues.
  9. Work closely with QA team members, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar.
  • Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or Ruby.
  • Proficiency with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
  • Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CICD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins CICD, or similar.
  • Proficiency with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
  • Proficiency with cloud and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear defect reporting, test case documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
