Job Overview

The Operations Monitoring and Reporting Specialist is a vital component in ensuring optimal system performance and regulatory compliance by overseeing the continuous monitoring of operations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies for integrating SCADA, CMMS, and reporting platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor real-time and historical performance data from O&M systems (SCADA, CMMS, etc.) to identify trends or anomalies.
  • Create automated reporting tools for performance metrics, service logs, and compliance tracking to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with field technicians to ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Track service tickets and ensure resolution to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance and maintenance reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify operational issues, inefficiencies, or performance degradations and propose recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Support root cause analysis and incident reporting processes to promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across monitoring systems to maintain the accuracy of operational data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical proficiency in SCADA, SQL, and integration tools (e.g., PowerShell, APIs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex operational issues.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
