Job Description:

Technical Lead

A senior role that oversees the development of cutting-edge web-based applications on portal plus premium service platforms.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications utilizing standard development tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative state-of-the-art applications.
  • Lead the entire web application development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Oversee backend data services and contribute to enhance existing data services API.
  • Communicate progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules effectively.
  • Document development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with developers and project manager to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Stay updated on new trends and best practices in web development.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST services).
  • Experience with version control systems like GIT is mandatory.
  • Work with business leaders to define, develop, and execute scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in agile scrum meetings, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Provide technical oversight over feature development and review code changes.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in PHP programming and 4-5 years as a Laravel developer.
  • Experience with Lumen Microservices framework is desired.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) and MySQL profiling expertise.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Angular JS & React native is an added advantage.
