Job Title: Family Law Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to support our team and cherished clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with a diverse legal team to ensure continuity of client service and internal support.
  2. Take ownership of assigned cases from intake through resolution, preparing pleadings, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and zealously representing clients in court.
  3. Communicate clearly and consistently with clients to manage expectations, explain legal processes, and maintain trust.
  4. Analyze legal issues with precision, review and interpret pertinent documents, and develop well-reasoned strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances.
  5. Exhibit unwavering dedication to client outcomes, using sound judgment and creative problem-solving to achieve resolutions that align with client goals.
  6. Provide leadership to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring team alignment, legal accuracy, and procedural efficiency.

Qualifications

  1. A self-starter mentality, taking ownership of responsibilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  2. Flexibility and adaptability when assessing and managing cases, embracing innovative legal strategies.
  3. Proven trial experience, possessing a confident courtroom presence and demonstrable success in evidentiary hearings and full trials.
  4. Exceptional judgment, exercising sound legal and strategic judgment under pressure.
  5. Mastery of court procedure, comprehensively understanding Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Family Law Rules, and local judicial practices.
  6. Advanced negotiation skills, effectively balancing assertiveness with diplomacy.
  7. Articulate and persuasive communication, drafting compelling pleadings and presenting clear, persuasive arguments.
  8. Mediation and settlement experience, managing conferences with professionalism and focus on practical resolution.
  9. Professional networking skills, maintaining relationships and participating in firm-sponsored or community-based events.
  10. Deposition experience, taking and defending depositions.
  11. Florida Bar Membership, licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Florida.
