Senior Billing Specialist

About the Role

As a billing specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for billing inquiries. Responsibilities include billing, researching outstanding items, generating invoices and reviewing refunds.

You will support vendor operations, provide feedback to management regarding inaccuracies and collaborate with internal departments for timely case handling and resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee account billing status by researching inconsistencies and errors.
  • Analyze billing documents and data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Create customized invoices as needed.
  • Review and validate credits and refunds, issue refunds and address payment disputes and chargebacks.
  • Evaluate the billing process and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper cutoff periods for month-end closing procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a billing or related role.
  • Independent self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
