Technical Expert: WordPress Solution Specialist

This is a highly skilled and experienced role that plays a critical part in troubleshooting, optimizing, and developing complex WordPress applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve intricate WordPress core upgrade issues
  • Resolve plugin conflicts and PHP version mismatch issues
  • Diagnose and fix complex WordPress installation crashes
  • Resolve database synchronization and migration challenges
Performance Optimization Strategies:
  1. Optimize WordPress site speed using caching, database query optimization, and content delivery networks (CDNs)
  2. Fine-tune WordPress databases for efficient query execution and faster site performance
  3. Implement and optimize Redis/Memcached configurations for improved site responsiveness
  4. Ensure WordPress sites adhere to robust security best practices and address vulnerabilities
Architecture & Customization Troubleshooting Expertise:
  • Debug and resolve complex issues caused by custom WordPress plugins
  • Identify and fix problems related to REST API integrations
  • Troubleshoot intricate theme-related issues
  • Resolve complex e-commerce functionality issues
Migration Support Services:
  • Manage complex migrations between hosting platforms and WordPress environments
  • Handle complex multisite setup and migration challenges
  • Oversee upgrade processes and ensure smooth transitions and rollback solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with customer development teams to identify and implement fixes
  • Handle out-of-scope issues escalated by support engineers
  • Provide detailed reports on issues and create documentation for recurring issues
Training & Mentorship Opportunities:
  • Conduct technical training sessions for internal engineers
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Offer top-notch support to customers via tickets, chat, emails, Slack, and Skype
