Lead Billing Administrator

The Lead Billing Administrator at Appedology Inc. is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, adjustments, and collections. This role involves managing a team of billing specialists, monitoring workflow, resolving complex billing issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a team of billing specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient task allocation.
- Review and process invoices for accuracy, ensuring that all billable items are correctly captured and billed in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and other departments to resolve billing-related queries and ensure smooth operations by fostering strong relationships and open channels of communication.
- Monitor billing KPIs and team performance, implementing improvements where necessary to drive continuous growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities, outstanding invoices, and trends to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies, internal controls, and industry standards by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adhering to best practices.
- Handle escalated billing issues from customers and internal teams, ensuring resolution in a timely and professional manner that meets customer expectations and maintains a positive reputation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the billing process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that benefit the organization as a whole.
- Maintain proper documentation of all billing activities for auditing and record-keeping purposes, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
Requirements:
This role requires an experienced professional with 2-4 years of experience in billing management. A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is also required.
