Job Title: Structure Engineer

 

As a Structural Integrity Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and construction of safe and efficient systems for oil and gas operations. This includes providing technical expertise on structural integrity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on safe design and construction practices
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and customer specifications
  • Contribute to equipment standardization and document template development
  • Collaborate with consultants and incorporate technical knowledge into project execution
  • Support checking processes and reviews, applying local and global standards
  • Provide technical supervision to Structural designers and draftsmen
  • Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and project-related documents
  • Review design drawings for structural integrity and material usage
  • Evaluate bids and review vendor documents
  • Create comprehensive structural overviews and develop reports
  • Advise senior management on practical design and cost estimates
  • Review mechanical structural drawings and documents
  • Seek input from knowledgeable sources and participate in constructability reviews
  • Develop plans and documents for construction, testing, and maintenance
  • Conduct on-site verification and data collection
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering and PEC qualified
  • Middle East/Gulf experience preferred
  • Proficiency in STAADPro, CAD WORX/TEKLA, AutoCAD/Advance Steel/Equivalent
  • Knowledge of international standards and codes in structural engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Mechanical Structural Designing
  • Ability to interpret complex structural drawings and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and precision
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
