Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our web application development team. This role requires expertise in server-side web application logic, integration of front-end components, and development of high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge web-based applications using PHP on premium platforms.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to build innovative and state-of-the-art applications.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Analyze website and application requirements for optimal functionality.
  • Write secure, test-driven, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
  • Develop database designs and ensure efficient maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Work closely with frontend and mobile app developers on backend needs.
  • Communicate complex technical terms to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a PHP developer with strong background in Laravel or similar frameworks.
  3. Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  4. Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
  5. Understanding of open source projects like WordPress is a plus.
  6. Experience in common third-party APIs and proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.
