Trainee Design Specialist

We are seeking a Trainee Design Specialist to contribute to the advancement of Process Automation Solutions across various industries. This role is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge projects that leverage expertise in Integrated Control Systems, SCADA Virtualization, Wellhead Automation, and Telecommunication.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional engineering teams to develop layout drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, and other design tools. Additionally, they will maintain drawing files, ensure proper document control, and support in reviewing and updating drawings as per project revisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline, along with 0–2 years of experience in a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software, familiarity with CADWorx, basic understanding of mechanical and piping design concepts, attention to detail, and willingness to learn industry standards and project procedures are essential skills.

About the Role
  • Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, CADWorx, and other design tools.
  • Assist senior engineers and designers in developing layout drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings.
  • Maintain drawing files and ensure proper document control.
  • Support in reviewing and updating drawings as per project revisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for project deliverables.
