Social Media Specialist Job Description

The social media specialist will play a key role in developing and executing social media strategies for healthcare clients. This position requires a visionary marketer who can lead planning, oversee execution, and mentor junior team members while delivering innovative, data-driven results.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution: Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with clients' goals.
  • Campaign Development: Develop creative campaign ideas that resonate with target audiences in the healthcare industry.
  • Team Guidance: Guide and mentor junior social media marketers, providing feedback and fostering professional growth.
  • Calendar Management: Oversee the development and management of social media calendars.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of successful strategy execution.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Ability to develop creative ideas and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to strategy development and execution.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing, HIPAA compliance, and industry regulations is a significant advantage.
