DevOps Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our infrastructure and collaborate with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Servicing Agreements: Ensure adherence to SLAs, guarantee timely delivery, and high-quality results.
  2. Urgent Issues and Projects: Lead on urgent projects, communicate statuses effectively, and assign necessary resources accordingly.
  3. Documentation: Document system configuration, processes, and tools used by the team, promoting transparency and knowledge sharing.
  4. Process Methodology: Possess a thorough understanding of process methodology and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with development engineering to create and deploy CI/CD infrastructure, streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
  6. Environment Development: Develop and implement environments for quality assurance, development, and other purposes, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  7. Cloud Deployment: Deploy and support applications on cloud environment, maintaining scalability and security.
  8. Infrastructure Security: Responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, scalable, and automated environments, safeguarding against potential threats.
  9. Server Support: Provide direct server support during operations like deployment and general production, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  10. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and adhere to best practices, fostering a culture of excellence.
  11. Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and test agreed-upon infrastructures, driving innovation and improvement.
  12. Automation: Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual errors.
  13. Talent Evaluation: Evaluate candidates for open positions, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience in professional industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, Azure, App Center Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, Subversion, Docker, or relevant technologies.
  • Data Platforms: Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL data platforms, including MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Operating Systems: Experience working with Windows Servers on VMWare, IIS, MSSQL, MongoDB.
  • Scripting: Advanced level scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell, or similar languages.
  • Linux Distributions: Strong experience with Linux distributions, including Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working embedded with development teams, helping them automate/optimize their workflows.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a flexible attitude and versatile personality.
