Specialist in Otolaryngology Care

A role for a Resident Medical Officer in Otolaryngology is now available to provide comprehensive care to patients in the ENT department.
Job Requirements:
- Initial assessments, documentation, and follow-up of patients must be conducted before being seen by a Consultant.
- Emergency calls from the ER require attendance, performing or arranging initial assessments, and formulating management plans in consultation with the Senior Resident or Consultant on call.
- Operative procedures in the OR can include preparation, assistance, or performance, with findings and management plans documented.
- Daily ward rounds must be conducted, communicating findings and assessment plans to Consultants, and documenting patient information.
- Availability on premises when on call is essential, attending to all patient-related issues in the ER or ward.
Key Qualifications:
- Holding an MBBS degree from a recognized institution with a minimum score of 55 percent and above is mandatory.
- One year of internship completion with six months each in Medicine and allied disciplines and Surgery and allied disciplines is required.
- Registration for FCPS Part I is necessary.
- Possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills is crucial.
