Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Translation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in translation and excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Read given material and research industry-specific terminology.
  2. Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others, ensuring the translated content conveys the original meaning and tone.
  3. Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations, maintaining the original format.
  4. Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation.
  5. Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
  6. Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure the translation meets their needs.

Requirements:

  1. Proven work experience as a Translator or similar role.
  2. Fluency in Chinese, English, or in addition to your native language.
  3. Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  4. Good knowledge of content editing tools.
  5. Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus.
