This role is ideal for a highly skilled individual who can assess security documentation, identify vulnerabilities in security controls and develop effective remediation plans. Collaboration with system owners and stakeholders is essential to ensure the successful implementation of security measures.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in driving engagement with regional and global stakeholders and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant security frameworks, standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting in-depth assessments of security documentation to identify potential vulnerabilities in security controls.
  2. Collaborating with system owners and stakeholders to develop and implement remediation plans for identified security weaknesses.
  3. Supporting the delivery and operational strategy.
  4. Providing critical representation and expertise on all issues, including cryptography, data and network solutions advice and guidance to projects and the business.
  5. E nsuring information security requirements are adhered to globally by implementing effective compliance measures.
  6. Working closely with the Business as the primary point of contact and understanding strategy while maintaining visibility of their IT security risk profile, exposures and control effectiveness, and providing robust challenge when information security risk appetites are breached.
  7. Driving engagement with regional and global stakeholders (cyber security colleagues across Strategy and Architecture, Security Shared Services, Security Engineering, and business and IT Functions) and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant security frameworks, standards and best practices.
  8. Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.
