Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting principles.

  • This includes managing general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

  • Assistance in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis will be required to support decision-making.

  • Processing accounts payable/receivable and ensuring timely payments and collections is essential.

  • Collaboration with auditors during financial audits and ensuring accurate documentation is necessary.

  • Compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies must be maintained.

  • Financial data analysis will be required to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports may be needed.

  • Support for the finance team in developing and maintaining financial models for business planning is expected.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's/master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or working toward one) is required.

  • 0-1 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions is essential.

  • Proficiency with accounting software, especially QuickBooks, is a plus.

  • Strong data entry skills and the ability to work with large volumes of financial data are necessary.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and clients are necessary.

  • Demonstrated capability to handle unexpected challenges and a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively and ensure smooth operations are required.
