About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Process Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing process optimization to reduce production costs, scrap, and set-up time.
  • Focusing on initiatives that improve productivity, quality enhancements, throughput production capabilities, and efficiencies.
  • Solving complex process issues associated with process equipment and/or product performance.
  • Supporting safety initiatives, programs, and daily requirements.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams during new product communications.
  • Leading cost-out initiatives to lower costs while maintaining quality, improving margins on products.
  • Conducting process and equipment evaluations, developing operating parameters, and implementing improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with reputable vendors/suppliers and driving facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implementing process optimization DOE's to increase line speeds, decrease changeover times, and improve product yields.
  • Providing leadership for production by creating a motivating environment for team members to meet and exceed facility goals for safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control targets.
  • Collaborating with technical and support resources in resolving problems and developing improved manufacturing processes through lean sigma tools.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
  2. Strong quantitative, analytical capability, and statistical analysis skills with a data-driven focus.
  3. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  6. Advanced troubleshooting skills critical for this role.
  7. Effective interpersonal skills dealing with people at various levels and in a variety of functions.
