About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Operation Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring uninterrupted and safe gas supply through maintenance of pipeline instrumentation, providing technical and administrative support on a daily basis related to pipeline sections, and assisting in fabrication commissioning operations and maintenance of Point Of Delivery (POD) and Sales Meter Station (SMS).

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure uninterrupted and safe gas supply through maintenance of pipeline instrumentation.
  • Provide technical and administrative support on a daily basis related to pipeline sections.
  • Assist in fabrication commissioning operations and maintenance of POD and SMS.
  • Ensure efficient UFG control in the transmission network through effective instrumentation controls.
  • Supervise quality control checks to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the system.
  • Manage a team of engineers involved in different activities of pipeline operation and maintenance of Integrity Management of Gas Supply in the network.
  • Support uninterrupted and smooth gas supply over PODs, valve assemblies, sales metering stations, and LHF.
  • Support the development of plans for expansion and rehabilitation of the network.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning tasks on the network related to sections.
  • Manage, motivate, and train department staff.
  • Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
  • Develop and implement risk response strategies for risks under their management.
  • Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
  • Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
