**Job Description:** Teaching Faculty Position

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fulfill annual performance goals set by the department head.
  2. Work towards university-set targets to secure a high-quality teaching environment for students.
  3. Deliver assigned courses according to faculty workload policy.
  4. Enhance own teaching skills and contribute to teaching program development.
  5. Implement innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning.
  6. Cultivate critical thinking, debate, and rational discourse in students.
  7. Oversee student projects, field trips, and placements as necessary.
  8. Assess, mark, and provide feedback on student work and examinations.
  9. Maintain accurate student academic performance records for internal evaluation purposes.
  10. Mentor 15-20 students through the Riphah Mentoring Program.
  11. Update data in virtual learning environments and required software systems.
  12. Embed Islamic and ethical values into teaching practices and engage in departmental committee activities as required.
  13. Ensure teaching content and methods align with university mission and address subordinate and student needs.
  14. Regularly monitor student attendance in classes, labs, and practicals.
  15. Contribute to scholarly publications and disseminate research findings through various media channels.
  16. Seek practical applications of research outcomes.
  17. Lead independent research initiatives and manage projects as principal investigator.
  18. Provide supervision and guidance to team members or PhD students as needed.
  19. Carry out additional tasks assigned by the department head.
