REGIONAL HEAD

People is looking for a REGIONAL HEAD – RETAIL SALES – GUJRATto lead regional sales operations for our Takaful & Investment retail business. The role requires a seasoned sales leader with proven expertise in driving large-scale growth, expanding distribution networks, and managing high-performing teams within the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.Lead retail distribution expansion across assigned locations.Oversee sales operations, productivity, profitability, and compliance with national sales objectives.Manage, mentor, and motivate large multi-tiered sales teams across regions.Build strong business relationships with HNWIs, SMEs, corporate clients, and institutional partners.Implement performance management systems, sales incentives, and succession planning.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend proactive business strategies.Partner with senior leadership on marketing, product, and channel initiatives to enhance business growth.Represent the region in strategy meetings, performance reviews, and cross-functional forums. Required Qualifications Masters degree from a recognized institution.6 - 8 years of progressive experience in retail sales/business development, including 2-3 years in senior leadership within:Financial ServicesBankingAsset ManagementInsurance / TakafulProven track record in achieving revenue targets, business expansion, and large-scale team leadership.Strong connections across retail, affluent, corporate, SME, and HNWI segments.
