Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lab Medical Billing and Credentialing Specialist based in Rawalpindi. The Specialist will handle tasks such as managing medical billing processes, addressing claim denials, ensuring accurate credentialing of laboratory staff, maintaining compliance with insurance and government regulations, and utilizing ICD-10 coding for billing and documentation. The role also involves collaboration with insurance providers to resolve billing or credentialing issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Experience with handling Denials and resolving claim-related issues
- Understanding of Insurance processes, including interactions with private insurers and Medicare
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience in medical billing and credentialing
- Proficiency in relevant billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
