Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented eBay Account Manager to oversee and grow our eBay sales channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product listings, optimizing performance, driving revenue, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires experience with eBay's platform, strong analytical skills, and a passion for e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all eBay listings, including writing compelling product descriptions, uploading images, and setting competitive pricing.
  • Monitor eBay account health, performance metrics, and seller ratings to ensure compliance with eBay policies.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and ranking on eBay search results.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, messages, and resolve disputes or return issues efficiently.
  • Analyze sales trends, traffic, and conversion metrics to inform product strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with inventory and shipping teams to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
  • Create promotions, discounts, and campaigns using eBay marketing tools to increase sales.
  • Stay up to date with eBay updates, policy changes, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align eBay listings with overall brand messaging and goals.
  • Generate regular reports on eBay performance and propose strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing eBay accounts, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of eBay Seller Hub, promotions manager, and eBay search algorithm.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or other e-commerce analytics platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with third-party listing tools (e.g., ChannelAdvisor, InkFrog, Linnworks) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with shipping and fulfillment processes.
  • Customer service experience is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Graphic design or photo editing experience (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
  • Experience with other online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Etsy) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of eBay API or custom automation tools
