Position Title: Civil / Construction Engineer

Department: Engineering / Construction

Reports to: Project Manager / Chief Engineer

Location: Pakistan, Balochistan province

Position Purpose

The Civil / Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil and structural works on the project. The role ensures that construction activities are executed in compliance with design, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedule.

Main Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Review:

Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.

Provide technical support and recommendations during project planning and execution.

Participate in design coordination with architects, subcontractors, and other disciplines.

Construction Supervision:

Monitor and supervise construction works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

Ensure timely execution of works in accordance with project schedule and budget.

Control the quality of materials and workmanship, and verify construction progress.

Prepare and maintain site reports, work permits, and progress documentation.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Ensure adherence to occupational safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection requirements.

Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to ensure safe working conditions.

Coordination & Reporting:

Liaise with project Manager, consultants, and client representatives.

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations for management.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving.
