Executive Manager Merchant Insights

The Executive Manager Merchant Insights and Analytics plays a critical role in driving strategic insights and operational excellence across Easypaisa merchant ecosystem. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end reporting, performance management, and analytics for all merchant channels — including Digital Merchants, Retail Merchant, and Merchant-to-Distributor (M2D) streams.
The role demands strong analytical acumen, hands-on data management skills (SQL, Excel, and visualization tools), and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and field sales teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop, automate, and maintain reporting for all merchant business streams, including Digital Merchants, Retail Merchants, and Merchant-to-Distributor channels.
- Manage sales hierarchy reporting, covering performance from Field Sales Agents (BDOs) up to senior management dashboards.
- Deliver performance tracking reports against sales and growth targets, including campaign-based achievement analysis.
- Partner with business and sales teams to provide timely and accurate visibility into KPIs and operational metrics.
Analytics & Insights
- Conduct sales and performance analytics to identify key trends, drivers, and improvement areas within the merchant ecosystem.
- Perform deep analytics to map merchant engagement across various Easypaisa products and plot network effects, such as merchant–consumer linkages and product usage patterns.
- Utilize large datasets to identify informal or potential merchants through behavioral and transactional data, and recommend strategic initiatives to onboard them into the Easypaisa ecosystem.
- Provide data-backed insights to guide sales strategy, channel optimization, and business growth initiatives.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, and BI) to ensure alignment between data insights and business strategy.
- Support the Director – Channel Planning & Analytics in strategic planning, forecasting, and growth opportunity identification.
- Continuously refine reporting frameworks and KPIs to improve business performance visibility.
Tools & Technical Competency
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
- Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities — able to convey insights clearly and influence decisions at multiple organizational levels.
