Tax Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate tax documentation, filing, and portal handling while ensuring full compliance with Pakistani tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry, preparation, and submission of tax returns for Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA).
- Maintain both digital and physical records of all tax filings, correspondence, and notices.
- Assist the Tax Managers in compiling case files, preparing responses to notices, and managing audit-related documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure correct withholding tax deductions, CPR verification, and reconciliation.
- Operate and manage eFBR and PRA portals, tracking challans, orders, and return statuses in a timely manner.
- Monitor deadlines and maintain compliance calendars to avoid penalties or delays.
Requirements:
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / ACCA (Part Qualified) or a similar finance/taxation background
- Strong understanding of Pakistani tax laws, filing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in IRIS, PRA Portal, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu.
- Prior experience in dealing with tax audits or assisting tax consultants will be a plus
