Senior Presales Solution Architect

Summary

The Senior Presales Solution Architect serves as the technical lead throughout the entire business development cycle and during bid responses. This role is responsible for validating and reviewing technical solutions from partners and vendors, preparing detailed technical proposals, coordinating technical inputs, and ensuring all deliverables are accurate, compliant, and submission-ready.

The position focuses on AI, data management, integration, smart solutions, automation, IoT, and software development, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and validate solutions that meet client requirements and align with the organization's strategic portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements, challenges, and constraints.
• Conduct discovery sessions to capture detailed technical and functional requirements.
• Translate business objectives from the Business Development (BD) team into clear technical designs and solution blueprints.
• Review and validate solution architectures proposed by partners and vendors to ensure compliance with client needs and organizational standards.
• Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and integration feasibility.
• Take ownership of Technical Proposals (TPs) from partners or vendors, ensuring full coverage, compliance with RFP requirements, alignment with company templates, and preparation of submission-ready packages.
• Collect, review, compile, and format Technical and Financial Proposals from partners and vendors into standardized templates, ensuring accuracy and completeness for final submission.
• Summarize Statements of Work (SOWs) and high-level deliverables, coordinating their distribution to relevant partners and internal teams.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between vendors, partners, and internal teams — coordinating inputs, clarifications, and alignment of all proposal details.
• Define and maintain a Responsibility Matrix involving the company, partners, and vendors, managing follow-ups and escalations to ensure timely deliverables.
• Evaluate partner and vendor solutions for technical fit, compliance, and delivery capabilities.
• Ensure that all technical commitments in proposals are feasible, measurable, and effectively transitioned to implementation teams.
• Lead client-facing demonstrations, workshops, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities.
• Present technical and business value propositions in client meetings and early engagement sessions.
• Prepare and maintain key technical documentation, including solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
• Stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry frameworks.
• Advise the BD team on innovative technologies and solutions to enhance proposals and business opportunities.
• Provide post-submission technical support during client evaluations, clarifications, and negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–10+ years of proven experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
• Strong technical expertise across areas such as cloud platforms, AI/ML frameworks, data management, integration tools, automation, IoT, and software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to review and document partner/vendor architectures and technical proposals.
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills with internal and external technical stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Proven organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours when required to meet proposal deadlines.
• Experience working with public sector or government entities, familiarity with tendering processes, and understanding of Agile, DevOps, and cybersecurity standards, including compliance and governance practices.
