We are seeking an experienced
Senior WordPress Developer
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
WordPress theme and plugin development
, a strong command of
front-end technologies
, and a deep understanding of
website performance optimization
. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-performing websites while ensuring best coding practices and scalability.

Location:
Gulberg Greens, Islamabad (Onsite)

Education:
Bachelors in required field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain
    WordPress themes and plugins
    .
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Work with
    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
    to enhance front-end functionality and design.
  • Integrate and manage
    third-party APIs
    and external services.
  • Optimize website performance across
    desktop and mobile
    platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and backend developers.
  • Manage code repositories using
    Git
    for version control.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing WordPress sites as needed.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years
    of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
  • Proven expertise in
    custom plugin and theme development
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
    .
  • Proficient in
    Git
    version control.
  • Experience with
    website performance optimization
    (desktop and mobile).
  • Familiarity with
    RESTful APIs
    and
    third-party integrations
    .
  • Understanding of
    SEO principles
    and web security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with
    page builders
    like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Knowledge of
    PHP frameworks
    or
    modern JS frameworks
    (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and deployment workflows.
