THE ROLE:
Working as part of the technology team with minimal daily supervision, the senior Go language developer will be responsible for design and development of scalable blockchain-based backend systems capable of handling millions of concurrent users. Your expertise will also be instrumental in ensuring smooth integration with PostgreSQL and peer-to-peer networks using libp2p.
THE LOCATION:
Islamabad, Pakistan
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for a candidate having 7+ years of experience with the following skill set:
- Exceptional programming and logic building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Go-lang, Rust, and/or C++, is a mandatory requirement.
- Proven expertise in building and optimizing high-load applications capable of handling significant traffic.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database schema design.
- Hands-on experience with libp2p and peer-to-peer network design.
- Familiarity with blockchain protocols and Web3 ecosystem. It includes understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic protocols.
- Proficiency in Docker and containerized application development.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and concurrency.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience of back-end development, algorithms, and data structures.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, or SVN.
- Ability to learn, embrace and apply new technologies and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
- Strong communicator and ability to work in a team environment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or Computer Engineering from a reputable university with a strong academic background.
