We're seeking a creative and highly organized Video Editor (remote) to join our cross-cultural YouTube channel team. If you're passionate about digital storytelling that bridges cultures and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. Get to know our content here:
Job Description:
- Copying and organizing recorded footage properly.
- Syncing footage, trimming footage segments, and putting together the sequences of the video.
- Creating assembly, rough and final cuts of the long form content for our YouTube that align with the vision of our content.
- Adding the right music, graphics, subtitles, and animations to enhance storytelling.
- Color correction and audio cleaning and leveling.
- Creating shorter versions optimized for YouTube shorts, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Requirements:
- Experience of 3-5 years in editing non-fiction long form content for YouTube.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with strong knowledge of video formats.
- Strong sense of storytelling—knowing how to hook and retain an audience.
- Language fluency: English, Urdu. Working knowledge of other local language would be a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Aftereffects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time (10 AM to 6 PM Pakistani Time) Monday to Friday
- Location: Remote
