Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Islāmābād, Pakistan for a Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack). The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end web applications. Day-to-day tasks include working with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions, building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design, developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications, and writing effective APIs. Additionally, the Full Stack Developer will be required to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as well as collaborate with other developers and team members to improve the functionality and user experience of applications.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain web applications from database to UI
  • Develop responsive frontends using React or similar frameworks
  • Create RESTful APIs and backend services using
  • Design and optimize database schemas (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Implement AI features using OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms (with guidance)
  • Collaborate with US clients on project requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack

Required Skills

Must Have:

  • 1-3 years of professional development experience
  • Strong JavaScript fundamentals
  • Experience with

    and Express/Fastify
  • Frontend framework experience:
    React
    (preferred), Angular, or Vue
  • Database knowledge:
    PostgreSQL
    , MySQL, or MongoDB
  • Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols
  • Git version control
  • Good written and spoken English
    (you'll communicate with US clients)

Nice to Have:

  • TypeScript experience
  • Experience with or React frameworks
  • Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
  • Basic AWS/cloud deployment knowledge
  • Exposure to AI APIs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
