Company Overview

Core Technologies is a software house in Karachi delivering software solutions exclusively for international clients since 2001. Our services have been used by a number of prominent US institutions and some of the applications we have built have been featured on CNN and the WSJ as well as by Apple in its New and Noteworthy apps section on the App Store.

Currently, we are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with an AI and Backend focus on a special new project to power the future of product management using AI. You will be the lead developer in building the MVP and taking this forward to the final product form. If you have expertise in RAG pipelines, Vector Databases, and LLM Integration and looking to partake in the AI revolution, this will be the perfect fit for you.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to ingest data from Slack, Google
  • Docs/Sheets/Slides, and community forums.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs to power workflows
  • Apply LLMs, embeddings, and AI agents to deliver practical, high-impact workflows for PMs.
  • Stand up scalable architecture (databases, vector search, authentication, data pipelines).
  • Collaborate on product design and iterate quickly from MVP → Phase 2 → beyond.

What we're looking for

Must-have skills:

  • Strong experience with backend engineering (APIs, databases, authentication, scalability).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems: embeddings, LLMs, and/or AI agents in production.
  • Proficiency with modern data storage and search (e.g., Postgres, vector databases like pgvector, Pinecone, or similar).
  • Ability to design and build systems from scratch, with minimal guidance.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Frontend experience with frameworks like React (helpful but not required).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Rackspace).
  • Prior experience building 0 → 1 products
