About the Role

Dial Edge Telecom is seeking an experienced
Asterisk & Vicidial Expert
to join our growing digital team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep technical expertise in VoIP, Linux systems, and call center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities


Linux System Administration

  • Manage CentOS / Rocky Linux / Debian servers
  • Configure firewalls (iptables, firewalld, UFW), SELinux, cron jobs, and system monitoring
  • Automate processes using shell scripting


Asterisk & Vicidial

  • Advanced knowledge of Asterisk/chan_sip/pjsip
  • Vicidial cluster setup (Web + DB + Telephony + Archive servers)
  • Load balancing, failover, MySQL/MariaDB replication
  • SIP trunk configuration, dialplans, codecs, and call routing
  • Carrier integrations (IP-auth, REGISTER, NAT traversal)


Networking

  • Strong understanding of SIP/RTP, NAT, QoS, and VoIP troubleshooting
  • VPN setup, VLANs, bandwidth optimization
  • Use of tcpdump, sngrep, and Wireshark for packet tracing


Frontend / User-Level

  • Vicidial GUI administration (campaigns, lists, agents, ingroups)
  • Monitoring KPIs: ACD, ASR, ALOC, drop percentage
  • Call recording, agent monitoring, and reporting
