We're seeking a results-driven
AI Automation Engineer
/
Automation solution Engineer
partner with our product, engineering, and clinical teams to eliminate manual, error-prone processes. You will design, ship, and maintain pragmatic automations using the best tool for the job RPA, scripts, APIs, or lightweight AI assistants while prioritizing reliability, security, and ROIAI Automation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact workflows by interviewing stakeholders and mapping processes.
  • Build, test, and deploy automations using RPA, Python/JavaScript scripts, and API integrations.
  • Integrate and orchestrate workflows across tools such as Airtable, Jira, OpenPhone, and email using APIs and webhooks.
  • Apply AI (LLMs, summarization, classification, document parsing) with guardrails to protect PHI/PII.
  • Monitor performance, add logging/alerting, and refine workflows based on feedback.
  • Document automations and create SOPs so teammates can safely self-serve.
  • Quantify ROI through hours saved, cycle-time reductions, and error-rate improvements AI Automation Engineer

Qualifications (Must-Have)

  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation using RPA, scripting, and API/webhook integrations.
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    and/or
    JavaScript
    for custom nodes, API wrappers, and data transformations.
  • Web automation skills (Playwright/Selenium) where APIs are unavailable.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and email protocols (IMAP/SMTP).
  • Excellent communication skills for interviewing users, clarifying requirements, and writing SOPs/technical specs.
  • Tool-agnostic mindset: ability to choose between UiPath, Power Automate, Make, Zapier, n8n, or custom code depending on the problemAI Automation Engineer

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare integrations (FHIR/HL7, EHR/EMR) or PHI-safe data handling experience.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Awareness of emerging AI/automation tools (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source models)AI Automation Engineer
